Life 1.2 introduces an intuitive Ducking feature, allowing users to quickly sidechain any sequencer lane directly to the Kick track—even if the Kick isn’t active. With an easy-to-use curve editor, you can precisely shape rhythmic dynamics, adding instant groove and energy to your beats.

Improved DAW Recording Workflow

Capturing spontaneous ideas just got easier. A dedicated recorder icon now sits conveniently in the top bar, providing quick access to recording controls. Users can record directly within Life, trim recordings down to precise segments (up to 15 seconds), or even retrieve the last 30 seconds of buffered audio input—ideal for catching those fleeting moments of inspiration.

Offline Mode: Creativity Anywhere

The highly anticipated Offline Mode is finally here. Now you can use Life without an internet connection, making it perfect for live performances or remote studio sessions. Simply disable the “Sync to cloud” toggle within the source file browser and access any audio file stored locally on your computer anytime, anywhere.

Note: Initial synchronization of new recordings from the Life Field Recorder app or cloud-based files still requires an internet connection.
